It is said that roses are the queens among flowers and their advantage, among other things, is that you can plant them several times a season. However, they need the right nutrition and if we want them to bloom beautifully, we should not forget this fact. Especially during summer it is necessary to pay increased attention to them. Suitable are, for example, Potash fertilizers and fertilizers rich in phosphorus. On the other hand, skip nitrogen fertilizers in this period, because nitrogen in summer reduces the ability to bloom.
An ideal combination rich in nutrients and vitamins that roses need at this time is ash with yeast.
Yeast stimulates growth, flower formation and strengthens the resistance of their roots to various diseases. It also supports the activity of soil microorganisms. The only disadvantage is that yeast absorbs potassium and therefore it is appropriate to combine it with ash, which neutralizes this effect.
Method:
- Mix 10 g of dried yeast with 2 tablespoons of sugar and pour in a glass of warm water.
- Let stand for 15 minutes in a warm place and then dilute with 10 liters of warm water.
- Use this solution diluted at a ratio of 1.5 liters of the solution to 5 liters of water.
- Pour 1 liter of this nourishment under each rose.
- Before use, the soil around the root should be slightly damp so it absorbs nutrients better.
- The results will appear very quickly and you will see them in just a few days.
After 2 – 3 days repeat only the ash feeding, which you prepare by mixing a one-liter cup of sifted ash with 10 liters of water and boiling for 2 hours. Let it cool and pour half a liter of this solution under each rose.
