Rosemary is one of the most useful herbs that more and more people are growing in their homes.

Its scent relaxes, heals, and invigorates.

In the Mediterranean, where this herb comes from, it is said that rosemary should not be missing in any household. Besides its beautiful scent, local people believe it brings peace, love, and good mood into homes.

Rosemary improves circulation and warms, so it is suitable for use with back pain, rheumatic pains, sprains, strains or pulled muscles, and various bruises. We perform a massage with rosemary ointment for muscle pain or cervical spine pain. We apply it to the temples for migraines and headaches. But that is not all.

Medicinal rosemary oil

You can prepare an oil from rosemary that will help you with various health problems. It can also be used for skin conditions such as eczema. It helps with back and muscle pain and can even reduce arthritis pain. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is very soothing.

To make rosemary oil you will need:

  • rosemary
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • a ceramic bowl
  • a glass container
  • a strainer

Instructions:

Place the washed and thoroughly dried rosemary into a ceramic bowl.

Pour extra virgin olive oil over it and close the container tightly.

Place the container by a sunny window for about a month and the rosemary oil will be ready.

If you have a glass jar available, pour this oil into it through a strainer without the used rosemary leaves.

After use, always store the container in a cooler and darker place to extend its shelf life.
