This is a great tip proven by generations of experienced gardeners – the secret lies in nettles, sugar and yeast. This feed is suitable for cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers.

How to feed plants in early summer?

No chemicals, rely on nettle fertilizer that is abundant all around and a simple yeast mixture.

Tear the nettle and layer it into an enamel or plastic container. Then pour water so that it reaches 10-15 cm below the rim of the bucket. Leave space for the Drozd mixture, which we will add at the end.

Prepare the infusion as follows

Into 200 g of warm water add 200 tablespoons of dry yeast, 2 tablespoons of sugar and a little plain flour. It is good to prepare the watering in the morning and then use Pobeda. The mixture is simply poured into the nettles flooded with water.

Stir well. Now let the mixture stand. I leave it in the sun until noon and then put it in the shade, because it is not good if the mixture is directly scorched by the bright summer sun. The ideal place is therefore where the sun hits in the morning but it is shaded in the afternoon. Cover the mixture and stir every day. The finished mixture is dark – almost black. It takes several days and this nutritious infusion is ready.

Prepare the resulting fertilizer from half a liter of the concentrate and 10 liters of water. Pour 1 liter of the mixture onto each bush. This fertilizer supports growth, improves plant fertility, protects against diseases and provides comprehensive nutrition. We use it on cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes – I apply it once every 2-3 weeks.
