Excellent compote from green walnuts
For a delicious compote of green walnuts you will need these ingredients:

Drain the nuts, let them drip and cook them in water. Pour the nuts into jars, pour hot infusion over them (boil with 1 liter of water and 2 kg of sugar), or add cloves or cinnamon to taste and close. Place them in a pot with hot water and sterilize by heating to 95 ° C for 20 – 40 minutes (jars 0.7 – 0.9 l – 60 minutes, jars 0.5 l – 50 minutes). Afterward cool the jars. The nuts are added to compotes for decoration, they have an excellent unforgettable taste.
