For effective and quick unclogging of the drain, 3 common ingredients are enough:
- Boiling water (4 cups)

How to do it?
1. It’s really very simple. First pour 1 cup of baking soda into the drain and pour boiling water over it.
2. Let it act for a few minutes and then add the remaining soda together with the vinegar.
3. Then cover the drain with a stopper so that the mixture reacts mainly inside and not on the surface. Let it work for 5-10 minutes.
4. Finally rinse the drain with boiling water. The drain should now drain without problems.
5. In case of a larger clog, the procedure will need to be repeated.
Why does it work?
When sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) comes into contact with vinegar, a chemical reaction occurs that can loosen dirt, deposits and sludge inside the pipe.
When boiling water is added to this reaction, it creates a mixture capable of dissolving grease, fats and other debris that are most often the cause of blocked pipes.

Using baking powder I also came up with a perfect homemade unclogging method for clogged pipes. It’s great and works quickly and reliably. It hasn’t failed me yet. Before pouring it into the drain, I removed as many hairs and surface debris as possible.
