Varices or varicose veins are an unpleasant diagnosis that, if improperly treated or left completely untreated, can develop into serious health problems requiring professional intervention in the form of a not very pleasant operation. The cause of varices and varicose veins is primarily a weakening of the vessel walls, which gradually become clogged and thus create very unaesthetic and often painful superficial defects. Here is an effective recipe to reduce their formation or completely remove them. If you are troubled by varicose veins, do not hesitate to prepare this natural remedy.
Causes of the onset and progression of varices and varicose veins
The origin of varicose veins is usually external factors that affect the overall condition of the body. The tendency to develop varicose veins is especially found in women at a later age, due to metabolic changes and also the strain caused by pregnancy and subsequent motherhood, as well as a fondness for uncomfortable shoes with raised heels or a less supportive design. The development of varices is also promoted by sedentary work or employment that requires long periods of standing without movement. In addition to these causes, lifestyle and diet also contribute to the development of varicose veins. If your diet is rich in sugar and fatty acids, you need to balance their intake with sufficient consumption of foods with vitamin C and animal fats (especially fish).
How to get rid of varicose veins
The first step in fighting varicose veins is to remove the factors that cause their development. First you need to adjust your diet, start moving more and remove uncomfortable or inappropriate footwear from your wardrobe. You can then support your effort with the following recipe, for which you will need:
- ½ cup of grated carrot
- ½ cup of Aloe Vera gel
- ½ cup of apple cider vinegar
Blend all the ingredients into a homogeneous paste and then apply to the affected areas. If necessary, secure the area with gauze and leave the preparation to act for at least half an hour, then rinse with cold water. To enhance the effect, it is good to raise the legs to a horizontal or elevated position.
How the preparation helps
All the ingredients act positively on the skin and the subcutaneous vascular system. Carrot contains a high amount of antioxidants, which from the paste penetrate the skin and subsequently the bloodstream, thereby helping to remove unwanted substances from the blood. Aloe vera has calming and anti-inflammatory effects, so it strengthens the areas where varices occur and firms damaged tissue. The third ingredient – apple cider vinegar – acts primarily as an anticoagulant, which thins the blood and helps its proper flow.
