Fantastic treat from chicken breasts and a simple batter.
Excellent, quick and perfect for a summer lunch.
We need:
- 400 g chicken breasts
- 2 eggs
- 50 ml beer
- 1 PL mustard
- 1 PL soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 3 PL cornstarch
- salt and pepper to taste
- oil for frying;
Method:
Cut the chicken breasts into smaller pieces, season with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a bowl prepare the beer batter.
Break both eggs, add the beer and soy sauce. For thickening, add the flour and cornstarch.
The batter should have a consistency similar to pancake batter. Dip all the pieces into the batter and coat thoroughly. You can optionally leave them to soak in the batter overnight.
Then remove the pieces and fry them in oil until golden.
Serve, for example, with roasted potatoes, fries, mashed potatoes, or simply with a vegetable salad.
