Although summer has ended, mosquitoes will still bother us for a few more weeks. It is almost impossible to find a mosquito in the room, because they hide under furniture and in inconspicuous places. Besides, they are so small and fast that it is really a superhuman task to deal with them. Not only do they wake us at night with an unpleasant buzzing. Their bites itch and can cause allergic reactions. But don’t give up the fight. We have discovered a trick that will allow you to find and eliminate a mosquito in your home within a few seconds. See how to do it.

Why it’s better to avoid mosquito bites

You may think that a mosquito can do you no harm besides causing itching. The opposite is true. Mosquitoes feed on the blood of many people and also of animals. They can infect your blood and cause unpleasant problems. Abroad they are the carriers of several insidious diseases such as

  • malaria
  • yellow fever
  • chikungunya fever
  • dengue fever

Fortunately, we don’t have to fear this in the Czech environment. Nevertheless, you face the risk of an allergic reaction and a stubborn cycle of scratching and itching. The best way to avoid all these problems is, of course, prevention. And because few people can endure never opening windows or doors, you have no choice but to neutralize the uninvited guest.

The following method will teach you how to catch a mosquito in your own apartment within one second. Take a flashlight and turn off all the lights in the room. It must be completely dark. The only light will come from your flashlight, which you will point at the wall. Do it so that there is a gap of 5 to 10 cm between the flashlight and the wall. As soon as you spot the mosquito, kill it immediately.
