Bread is a well-known baked good that we enjoy regularly. Many people, of course, buy bread. But we do not always encounter quality breads in stores. Often we are bothered by the taste, the content of chemicals and additives, or the texture of the baked goods. If you do not want to make compromises and eat something you do not like, try homemade wholegrain bread. We have several proven variants for you.
Oat flakes and flaxseed
A simple homemade wholegrain bread whose base will be oats and flaxseed. Why this combination? Because it positively affects not only the taste of the bread but also the content of unique substances. Oat flakes are rich in fiber, as well as in proteins, and we must also acknowledge their notable content of carbohydrates and of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

If you do not have flaxseed on hand, do not despair and use only oat flakes. We have already mentioned that they are a good source of fiber, carbohydrates and other substances. In addition, you can easily find them in every store, they cost a few crowns and are very easy and simple to work with.
Flax and chia seeds
Let us turn to the segment of so-called superfoods, which certainly includes flax and chia seeds. These contain omega-3 fatty acids, but also calcium and a number of other important substances. However, flax seeds also contain omega-3 fatty acids. By combining them you can interestingly influence both the appearance and the flavors of your baked goods.
Sesame seeds
There are a whole range of types of sesame seeds today, so you can easily combine them on your way to the perfect homemade bread. Seeds can not only be easily mixed into the dough, but you can also use them for sprinkling before baking. And why do it? For the look, the taste, and also because sesame contains a lot of beneficial calcium.
With rosemary
Use wholegrain flour and do not forget to add the well-known herb, which is rosemary. It will first and foremost make your bread wonderfully fragrant. And that is not the only advantage. It will further improve the taste of your baked goods and help you to be healthier. You can use dried rosemary, but fresh is of course the better choice.
