If you know that uric acid is accumulating in your body, don’t delay and address this health problem in time. You will thereby prevent much more serious health complications that can cause chronic joint pain and, in the worst case, gout. We will advise you how to get rid of uric acid simply and, above all, naturally.
What is gout and how does it manifest?
Gout, also known by the very romantic name „the disease of kings“, is a disorder of the metabolic system. Very simply put, a person whose body suffers from gout cannot break down uric acid.
Uric acid crystals gradually begin to deposit around the joints. Due to gravity, this mainly concerns the joints of the lower limbs. This is the beginning of inflammatory processes. Over time, affected joints begin to hurt, are swollen and red at the affected site. This condition is very painful, unpleasant and reduces the mobility of the affected joint.
Natural ways to get rid of uric acid
You don’t have to let it get this far. It takes very little. Start by changing your eating habits. Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and maintain a regular drinking regime (drink mainly water, fresh fruit juices and herbal teas). Limit the consumption of seafood, alcohol, refined sugars and red meat. Consumption of these foods leads to increased uric acid in the body.
We also recommend trying these folk remedies:
- Baking soda – dissolve one teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water. Drink regularly once a day
- Warm water with lemon – this lemonade alkalizes your body. It not only reduces the symptoms of gout, but also has other positive effects on your health. Squeeze half a lemon into warm water and drink every morning on an empty stomach
- Apple cider vinegar – has similar effects to warm water with lemon. Add one tablespoon to a glass of water (200 ml). Drink twice a day. Once before lunch and then before dinner
Other foods that effectively remove excess uric acid are turmeric, flax seeds and pineapple. You won’t go wrong if you include them in your diet.
