It is recommended to detoxify the body regularly. Detoxification is the overall cleansing of the organism from harmful substances that have accumulated in the body during everyday life. Harmful substances mean influences from the environment (the state of the air), as well as, for example, an unsuitable diet.

The detoxification process is natural to the body and occurs continuously. Toxins are eliminated by organs designated for this purpose – the liver, the kidneys, and the intestines. Considering that we live in an ever-accelerating time overflowing with stress, our organism is increasingly burdened by these external influences. We can make its functioning easier by helping it – for example with detoxification.

How to properly relieve the body?

Symptoms of a body overloaded with toxins include fatigue, feelings of heaviness, or poor digestion. The first essential point is a change in lifestyle. This includes changing the diet. It is necessary to provide the body with nutrients that will not further burden it and will support proper functioning. In addition to flushing out toxins that have accumulated in the body, detoxification will also give you new energy and a feeling of lightness.

Support the detoxification process with a single effective drink

You will need:

  • Apple
  • A tablespoon of flax seeds
  • A tablespoon of chia seeds
  • A tablespoon of honey
  • A cup of water

The preparation is very simple. Peel the apple, remove the core and chop it. Put it into a blender together with the other ingredients except for the chia seeds. Blend until you obtain a mixture. Then pour in the water and add the chia seeds at the very end. Drink a glass of this beverage every morning on an empty stomach. To achieve the best possible result, continue to maintain your drinking regimen and pay attention to a balanced and varied diet.

Don’t forget to consume foods rich in fiber. This will improve your gut microflora, which is responsible for proper digestion. Also include antioxidants in your diet. Rich sources of these are fruits and vegetables containing vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, and selenium. These include tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, currants, grapefruit, apple, or pear. Flavonoids are also important – they are especially found in berries, red peppers, pumpkin, and carrots.
