Many experts believe that our ears are connected in some way to various parts of the body and internal organs. Acupressure is directly based on this fact and treats various health complications by acting on specific points. Even Western medicine can recognize some problems just by looking at your ears, whether it is a current condition or problems that may threaten us in the future. The eyes are the window to the soul, the ears to the body.
Instead of a fingerprint, an ear print? Your ears are unique!
Although it is hard to believe, our ears are fully formed right after birth. Hypothetically, „earprints“ could therefore be taken in the delivery room that would remain the same for a lifetime. Would you recognize your loved ones by their ear? The earlobe is also interesting. A majority of people (55 percent) have a completely attached earlobe (it is fully attached to the scalp; its front edge is not distinguishable). Thirty percent of people have a partially attached one and the remaining 15 percent have a free earlobe. This is to a large extent influenced by hereditary genes.
You won’t believe what can be learned from the color and shape of your ears
It has been proven that a diagonal fold on the earlobes can indicate that you have coronary artery disease or that this problem may appear soon. Pale ears can mean you are lacking calcium or certain vitamins. Red ears, on the other hand, suggest kidney problems, headaches, possible memory loss and, in the worst case, even brain disease. Inflammation of the ear cartilage is often a symptom of a disease called relapsing polychondritis. There are more than 200 acupressure points on the ear, of which each is connected to a different part of the body. Pressing a specific point can help relieve pain, but it is also possible to address some emotional issues in this way. Acupressure can help:
- reduce stress,
- relieve headaches,
- boost the immune system,
- relieve tension in the neck and back pain, etc.
