Surely you know that people have five senses. They are taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight. The coronavirus has shown us that we can function without taste and smell without any problem, even though it is quite a nuisance. Losing hearing, touch or sight, however, would be a serious problem that would require a lot of effort to overcome and to learn to live with this loss. Today we will focus on one of these three vital senses. We have prepared a challenge for you that will check whether your eyesight works properly. It’s not as easy as it seems. See for yourself!
The lost hen among the sheep
Our photo is, of course, a bit tricky. The hen is very well hidden among a flock of sheep. Don’t think we will make it any easier for you. You have only 15 seconds to find the hen. Within this time limit only 25% of people find the hen. That’s because the hen is the same color as the sheep and doesn’t stand out at all. The large flock of sheep hides it perfectly, because our sight perceives the image as one big whole, so it’s very easy to deceive it.
Still can’t find it? We’ll give you a hint
If you’ve almost popped your eyes out and simply can’t see the hen, we’ll give you a little hint.
Hen:
- is white just like the sheep
- is smaller than the sheep
Still nothing? Don’t worry, that’s normal. You’ll find the hen in the bottom right corner.
How to naturally strengthen your eyesight
Even as small children we used to hear: „Eat carrots to have healthy eyes.“ Regular consumption of carrots really improves eyesight. As an adult you can treat yourself to a glass of freshly squeezed carrot juice every day. Its effect is further enhanced if you add a drop of olive oil to it. Sight can also be strengthened by special exercises. If you work on a computer, you should take breaks every 2 – 3 hours and let your eyes rest. Also be in nature as much as possible. On walks look into the distance, don’t just stare at your feet. Refresh tired eyes by rinsing them with warm water. If you need glasses, wear them as often as possible.
So? Did you manage to find the lost hen within the time limit, or did you need a hint? Write to us how it went for you.
