When you spend almost your whole life with someone, it is natural that this person deeply influences you and that you are, in many things, as if connected with them. This often happens with some married couples who have spent many decades together. These people are often so closely linked that if one of them dies, the other very often dies a short time later. That is exactly what happened in the case of one married couple who together experienced seventy-one years of a happy life.
A story like from a romantic movie
It is a story like from a romance novel or a Hollywood film: Frances and Herbert first met when he was twenty-two and Frances only sixteen. Although they were very young, both felt it was a love for life, so they became engaged after a year and the wedding soon took place. Their wedding day almost did not happen, because as Frances said in a television interview held on the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of their marriage, she arrived at the wedding an hour later than she was supposed to. The two of them thus died on the same day; they were together not only until death parted them, but they are certainly together now as well.
