Stretch marks form on the skin, they are small scars caused by stretching of the skin. They can appear on the thighs, abdomen or hips, and they cause great distress especially to women because they look unsightly and unhealthy. The condition of the skin reflects various processes in the body, since the skin is the largest organ in the human body. How to get rid of grooves that are often very deep and seem like no method will help? There is a solution and it is fairly simple: ordinary aspirin and a little exercise can help!

How to get rid of stretch marks at home

Dermatology experts recommend medical treatment with a laser, which is an exceedingly expensive matter and not always a 100 percent guarantee that the skin will look like it did in youth. But there is another way to tackle stretch marks cheaply and quickly at home, one that is not talked about much in dermatologists’ offices. It is admittedly a long-term process, but the skin can become supple and free of visible scars again!

Aspirin facial mask

How to restore skin elasticity? A facial mask with ordinary aspirin can help. You only need to prepare:

  • several aspirin tablets,
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • a little water.

Crush the aspirin tablets and dissolve them in a small amount of water in a bowl. Pour 2 tablespoons of warm olive oil into the mixture. Apply the mask to the areas with stretch marks and leave it on for at least 20 minutes; you can gently rub it into the skin, then wash off with lukewarm or warm water. The skin should be treated this way every other day to achieve visible results within just one month.

Add an egg and give your body vitamins E and C

To boost the effect of the aspirin mask, you can add one beaten egg to the mixture. You can alternate the masks, and the egg mask should be used at least twice a week. During this treatment it is also recommended to provide the body with vitamins E and C from food or to purchase vitamin capsules at the pharmacy.

Fight stretch marks with exercise

How else to effectively fight stretch marks? With physical activity, which improves blood circulation and the perfusion of skin cells. In addition, exercise releases a substance called collagen, which helps regenerate and firm the skin. Activities such as walking are recommended, as well as swimming, cycling, dancing or running. Also avoid intense tanning or using tanning beds; after sun exposure treat the skin with nourishing coconut oil with vitamin E.
