Household cleaning is hard work that a person must invest a lot of time and patience in. There are places we clean regularly, but also those we do not give such attention to and on which deposits and dangerous bacteria form. These can then be undesirable in the home.
Where does dirt accumulate?
One of the dirtiest rooms besides the bathroom is surprisingly the kitchen, where a lot of grease accumulates from cooking and food preparation. In addition, food and dishes are stored in the kitchen. There is a sink that often retains food residues, which go into the drain and also later spread a very unpleasant smell throughout the apartment.
Microwave oven and kitchen textiles
One of the appliances that almost every home has is the microwave oven, and some studies have shown that it is almost never cleaned in up to seventy percent of households. Another household appliance that is used constantly and is also very often neglected when it comes to cleaning is the oven. Believe it or not, even sixty-nine percent of people do not change kitchen towels as they should.
Refrigerator
Another place, when it comes to poor hygiene, is the refrigerator, and according to a survey up to fifty percent of women in households do not clean it. This information is particularly remarkable because the refrigerator stores the food we consume.
After evaluating this study, only one conclusion emerges. It is necessary to begin as soon as possible to pay attention to the hygiene of household appliances that make our lives easier, but can very easily become a breeding ground for dangerous bacteria that harm human health.
How to care for appliances
In the microwave, a lid that you can also put in the dishwasher will serve you well. Then wipe the oven only once every few days. In the refrigerator you can use, for example, your own practical containers where you transfer food, and they will not soil the space inside the fridge. Do not hesitate to also wipe it with a damp cloth with a detergent and disinfectant several times a week.
