If obesity were a pandemic, a large number of people around the world would be infected. Unhealthy eating habits, sedentary jobs and minimal movement certainly contribute to such a condition. Obesity is not attractive, and it is not healthy either. It is directly dangerous to a person’s health. Obesity can cause diabetes, heart disease, stroke, elevated cholesterol, high blood pressure, and many other illnesses, especially serious diseases. Such accumulated fat settles first under the shoulder blades, in the lower back and around the buttocks and on the hips. It can also appear as unsightly fat rolls under the armpits, which stand out in the summer when wearing a tank top. Such fat is unattractive and can also cause self-esteem problems, especially in women. 

Causes of fat accumulation on the back

There are several causes, the first of course being diet. If you are trying to reduce your weight and burn some calories, you must pay attention to your diet. If you are a fan of fast food, donuts and other treats, that is one of the reasons fat builds up on your body. Break the habit of eating such food; you should eat healthier. Complement your regular meals with enough vegetables and fruit. However, on the other hand, some medications can also promote obesity. For example, thyroid hormones or drugs used to treat depression. After stopping or changing medications you should begin to lose weight slowly.  

Zero activity

You will speed up effective weight loss primarily by moving. That way you can remove fat reserves and at the same time tone your whole body. If you don’t exercise and don’t move, you will always be prone to gaining weight. You don’t need to spend countless hours in the gym; it will be enough if you walk more. At least once every weekend enjoy a trip to nature with your family. Not only will you lose weight, but you will also strengthen family relationships with the outing and be happier.

Aging

Even natural aging can be a cause of weight gain and fat accumulation on the back. It’s normal. Our skin loses collagen and becomes more saggy. An older person can be active as long as they do not suffer from a particular illness. Movement, especially outdoors, keeps the heart healthy.

How to remove fat from these problem areas

Have you ever tried to lose weight in these areas? Then you surely know that it is very problematic. You will have to work on the whole body, and above all eat healthier. Move more, drink plenty of plain water and eat and cook from seasonal vegetables and fruit. Do you drive to work? Replace it with walking. Don’t drive everywhere. Where you can walk, be sure to go on foot.
