Maybe you’ve already tried everything on your feet. Store-bought scrubs often don’t even work. That’s why it’s time to try this home recipe, with which you can easily get rid of cracked skin. Nothing else will give you perfect skin.
There are many causes of cracked feet
If you wear inappropriate footwear, have wide feet and narrow shoes, or suffer from varicose veins, you’re setting yourself up for major foot problems that need to be addressed. Try this bath for your feet:
- 5 tablespoons of baking soda
- A little shower gel
- Essential oil (a few drops – orange, lemon, lavender)
If you want to ensure a better effect, press your feet firmly and keep them in hot water for at least five minutes. Mix the baking soda with the essential oil and shower gel. Rub the prepared mixture into the skin of your soles and perform a light massage.
If the skin is still rough and hard, you can work the soda into the skin with a brush or pumice stone. Then rinse off the soda and apply any foot cream that will hydrate them. If you repeat this procedure every day for two weeks, you’ll see that the skin of your feet will improve many times over.
Baking soda is an excellent remedy for excessive sweating
You’ll get rid not only of cosmetic problems, but baking soda is also a great remedy for eradicating fungal infections. A foot mask made from baking soda also helps eliminate excessive sweating and the unpleasant odor associated with it.
To combat sweating—not only of the feet—improving your lifestyle, cutting out unhealthy foods, and getting regular exercise also help. Alcohol consumption, smoking, or other vices can greatly affect sweating.
You can use baking soda not only for foot massages, but it also helps with hair problems or you can use it to clean the whole apartment. It’s a great helper not only in the kitchen for baking, but women especially love it for cleaning the bathroom because it helps remove limescale and other deposits, for example on faucets or sinks.
