Last year we all associate with the arrival of the coronavirus and the unavailability of disinfectant in shops and drugstores. But that is history now, and even if in the future a situation arises where disinfectant again cannot be obtained, you will now know how to make it at home from commonly available goods. That way you will not have to be afraid to go to work or shopping without proper protection.

You won’t have to run around stores anymore

Maybe staunch alcoholics will tell you that it’s necessary to disinfect the body mainly from the inside, but don’t believe that. Disinfection is more important today than ever before. These days it’s common to clean your workstation and tools daily after arriving at work, and at home door handles, keys, mobile phones, and someone even disinfects their groceries. Each of us has a small bottle of disinfectant in our bag or car that we use after every contact with an outside environment.

But what if the disinfectant runs out and is nowhere to be found? There is a simple solution – run to the pharmacy or drugstore for Alpa and a pack of wet wipes. Take the wipes out, let them soak with Francovka and put them back into the package. A travel-sized pack of disinfectant wipes is ready!

Is a pocket-size pack not enough?

You probably won’t disinfect the whole household with a single pack of wet wipes. You’ll need something bigger. After all, why not, your new „disinfection unit“ can have its own place and you won’t have to carry it anywhere. Get a larger sealable plastic or glass container and a roll of sturdy paper towels. You will also need:

  • 200 ml of Alpa or another alcohol of at least 60 percent
  • 200 ml of boiled water
  • 2 tablespoons of liquid soap
  • a few drops of tea tree oil (prevents skin from drying)

In a bowl mix the water, soap, oil and alcohol. Tear paper towels into the container and pour over the prepared solution. Now bacteria and viruses won’t dare mess with you.
