Bake an excellent light chocolate cake that melts in the mouth. Unlike other recipes, you don’t need any eggs or oil and its preparation is very quick. This dessert is light, porous, tasty, and immediately melts in the mouth! Read below to see everything you’ll need:
- 250 ml kefir
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Preparation and baking method
First, turn on the oven and heat it to 200 degrees. Then find two bowls. Pour the kefir and baking soda into the first, and put the sugar, flour and cocoa into the second. In the first bowl, mix the kefir with the baking soda and stir thoroughly. In the second bowl, properly mix all the other dry ingredients that belong in the cake (sugar, flour and cocoa powder). Once both bowls are well mixed, pour them together into one. If you don’t have two bowls the same size, choose the larger one. You will get a brown batter that comes together into a medium-thick mass. Again, it is very important to thoroughly combine the batter.
Grease the pan in which you will bake the cake. You can grease it with butter, lard, olive oil or any other vegetable fat. Slowly pour the batter into the pan and make sure it is evenly distributed everywhere. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes. Check the cake regularly by piercing it with a skewer. A finished cake will not stick to the skewer. You will not find a single bit of batter stuck to it. You can also bake it in a multicooker on the “bake” setting for approximately 45 minutes.
Remove the baked cake from the oven, and while still warm take it out of the pan. Now spread it with sour cream mixed with a little sugar and sprinkle with cocoa. You can also use any other cream, jam, condensed milk, chocolate, caramel and so on. The top can be sprinkled with nuts, grated coconut, candied fruit, stewed fruit and more. After decorating, put the cake to set in the refrigerator.
