Every housewife wonders how to simplify everyday cleaning or cooking in the household as much as possible and speed up the time spent preparing food or cleaning as much as possible. Free time is very precious to each of us and we like to spend it with family or a favorite hobby. Simplify the process of cooking and cleaning in the kitchen as much as you can.

Want to make cooking or cleaning time in the kitchen more pleasant and faster? There are many tricks and tips that will help you with that. Thanks to kitchen hacks you’ll enjoy cooking and cleaning the kitchen after cooking or storing your food much more. Check out the best tips.

Use paper towels in the refrigerator

Place paper towels on the bottom of plastic boxes or in the door compartments of the fridge. Thanks to the absorbent material you will remove all excess moisture from the refrigerator and it will be much easier to keep the entire fridge clean. All residue from fruit, vegetables, or other products will stay on the paper towel and instead of complicated washing you can simply take it out, throw it away, and line it with a new towel.

If you don’t like the look of a fridge with paper towels, you can try the following option. Pull the shelves out of the fridge and wrap them in transparent food-grade cling film. Then slide the shelves back in and use the fridge as usual to store food in the cold. With regular cleaning you won’t need to wash or scrub the fridge; just remove the film and wrap the shelves with a new piece.

Practical tips for cooking and baking

Are you baking your favorite bundt cake and your children are already drooling? At such a moment, as if by the law of mischief, the cake often won’t come out of the pan. In that case, simply cool the inside of the pan in cold water or wrap a wet, cold cloth around the pan. Thanks to that you’ll easily unmold your tasty cake.

Are you cooking your favorite soup and your hand slips with the salt while seasoning? You can get rid of an overly salty dish very easily. Add two egg whites to the soup; they will absorb quite a lot of the salt. Then remove the whites. If you don’t have eggs at home, you can try a similar trick with a potato. Peel the potato, cut it into smaller pieces and put them into the soup. Potatoes can absorb a large portion of the salt.
