Preparing refreshments for a guest you didn’t expect can often be stressful, but also time-consuming. However, this is not the case when preparing a delicious soufflé. This sweet treat for coffee or tea will be ready extremely quickly. And what’s best? You don’t even have to turn on the oven to bake it — it can be done without an oven. Moreover, it’s a really delicious dessert that you can prepare in twenty minutes including prepping the ingredients. Prepare your mugs and get started.

Ingredients

You won’t need a large amount of ingredients to prepare the delicious chocolate soufflés. Get ready:

  • Eggs 2 pieces
  • Granulated sugar 140 grams
  • Vegetable oil 80 milliliters
  • Milk 120 milliliters
  • All-purpose flour 180 grams
  • Cocoa 20 grams
  • Baking powder 10 grams
  • Vanilla sugar 5 grams
  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • Chocolate 80 grams

Prepare your mugs, which you will grease with a little butter. Then place one teaspoon of sugar in each mug and slowly rotate the mug so it is evenly coated with sugar. Now crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them together with the sugar until the mixture lightens. Once the eggs are whipped, you can add vegetable oil, milk, sifted flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla sugar.

Final phase

Once you have blended or whisked all the above ingredients into a smooth batter, mix in the chocolate — preferably Dutch cocoa — to obtain a lump-free batter. When the mixture is whipped, add two more tablespoons of water. Fill the mugs to ¾ of their volume. Now place two pieces of your favorite chocolate in the center of each mug. Spoon two more tablespoons of batter over the chocolate. Place the mugs in a saucepan and pour water around them. The water in the pot should reach only halfway up the mugs. Cover the pot with a lid and cook over low heat for ten to eleven minutes. After that the dessert will be ready.

Serving the sweet dessert

The dessert is recommended to be eaten while still hot, because the center of the soufflé has melted chocolate that gives the whole an irresistible flavor. If you prefer, let the dessert cool and then add whipped cream on top and decorate with berries. It’s entirely up to your taste. This is an excellent and quickly prepared dessert that everyone will enjoy.
