Such a topic is not talked about much in society, but you would certainly be surprised how many households struggle with this problem. If you have a pet, now and then a few fleas may hitch a ride from a walk in the park in its fur, which can multiply at home – they can even crawl between the floorboards. The same applies to bedbugs. Even in the most beautiful hotel on vacation you can pick up a few bedbugs in your suitcase that you bring home. Ants, especially in warm weather, get into the house through any crack in the floor, the doors, and elsewhere. We will tell you how to effectively get rid of these uninvited guests.
Bedbugs
The presence of bedbugs can always really scare us. Not only do they crawl into the mattress, but they also bite and leave unsightly red bumps on the body. We definitely need to get rid of them as soon as possible so that an infestation of bedbugs does not develop in our home. Borax works great. However, you will also need twelve eggs. Boil these twelve eggs hard, remove the yolks and mix them with 70 grams of borax and half a glass of sugar. Then form small balls from the mixture and place them in the places where bedbugs occur.
Ants
Ants love sugar and other sweet foods, for example honey. Mix borax with honey in a ratio of one to three and sprinkle the mixture on ant trails. Ants also like corn starch; however, if they ingest it, the starch will swell inside them and the ants will die. You can also try cinnamon. Sprinkle cinnamon around corners or where the ants appear. Its scent repels ants.
Fleas
Fleas like to nest between the joints in the floor, in the carpet, under furniture, even in upholstered furniture and elsewhere. If you have noticed where the fleas go, sprinkle those places with borax. If there are multiple places where fleas occur, we recommend generously covering the areas with borax and leaving the home for a day and a half. Then vacuum up the borax along with the fleas and air out the home.
