It is very simple, and you can also involve children in it, who will surely enjoy the preparation. And together you’ll enjoy the cake!

Prepare a delicious curd dessert

You won’t need anything for this dessert that you don’t usually have at home in the kitchen or can’t buy in a store. Prepare:

  • 4 eggs
  • 15 dkg granulated sugar
  • 1 dl oil
  • 1 dl milk
  • 25 dkg plain flour
  • Half a packet of baking powder

For the filling you will need 25 dkg curd, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons semolina and peach compote. First mix the eggs with the granulated sugar, add the oil, milk and plain flour. Finally add the baking powder; you can also use a mixer for mixing, the work will be faster and the batter fluffier.

In addition to canned peaches you can also use fresh peaches

Prepare a baking pan sized 25 x 30 cm and line it with baking paper. Pour the batter into it evenly. Finally prepare the filling – mix the curd with the zest of one lemon, granulated sugar and semolina. Carefully place the curd mixture on the batter using a spoon so that a free space is created where you will place the peaches.

Take the peaches out of the jar and cut them into larger pieces. Let them drain well so the batter isn’t too wet. You can also use fresh peaches, which you can slice and place on the batter immediately. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes – it depends on the oven type. Don’t forget to test the cake’s doneness with a skewer to make sure it’s fully baked. Finally you can sprinkle powdered sugar on it, but it’s sweet enough as is. You can enjoy it together with friends or family; it’s suitable as a quick dessert for an unexpected guest.
