Ice cream is inseparable from summer. You can buy it almost on every corner, but from personal experience you certainly know that it doesn’t always taste the way you’d like. Why try the trial-and-error method when you can make perfect ice cream at home? We’ll show you the easiest, but also the best recipe. Plus, you don’t have to use raw eggs — three ordinary ingredients and a baking pan are enough.
You will need
For the preparation of the ice cream have ready:
- 500 ml full-fat cream
- 370 g condensed milk
- Butter cookies that you like
How to proceed?
First, let the cream chill properly in the refrigerator. This is key so that you can whip it easily and it becomes truly stiff. Then pour it into a bowl and get your mixer ready. You can manage it by hand, but it will be a lot of work, so better go with an electric one, which will make it easier. Whip the cream until thick.
Then gradually add the condensed milk until the two ingredients combine. Mix everything well, but don’t overbeat the cream, so you don’t turn it into butter. You can taste the mixture to make sure it’s sweet enough for you. Put the resulting mixture in the bowl into the freezer like this for two hours.
You’re almost done
After taking it out, mix it thoroughly again. It’s possible that some lumps will form which need to be smoothed out. Prepare a baking pan and spread the cookies you chose across its bottom. They can basically be any you like, and you can experiment with the selection so the ice cream is a little different each time. Spread the frozen mixture on top and spread it well with a spatula. Then add another layer of cookies on top. Put the filled pan back into the freezer to set and leave it until the next day.
From the finished ice cream you can cut cubes and serve them on a plate. Children especially love this ice cream, but adults certainly won’t turn it down either. It’s delicious and velvety smooth.
