Cleaning in our households has become especially important in recent months. At a time when a viral infection was spreading around the world — one we all wanted to avoid and protect our families from — we focused even more on cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces in the home. It is essential to continue doing so even though the situation has improved.

So that cleaning doesn’t cause problems

The drawback, however, is that if we want to clean thoroughly and reliably, it is often necessary to use aggressive and strong chemicals. These can cause skin reactions, allergies and other unpleasant health problems. Is there another way? If you use this powerful natural disinfectant for cleaning, you don’t have to fear viruses or bacteria, and you can save on strong chemicals.

You need nothing more than a bottle of white vinegar

Most people know that vinegar is a great choice for preparing a variety of tasty dishes and for preserving certain foods. Few realize, however, that it is also an indispensable and very effective cleaning aid. Vinegar is a natural, gentle and completely harmless product that safely removes odors, disinfects and cleans most hard surfaces. It also handles grease well and removes stubborn hard-water stains.

How to use vinegar?

All you have to do is mix ¼ to a cup of vinegar in a bucket with 4 liters of warm water and mop the floor thoroughly with this mixture. You can also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture. White vinegar can likewise be used to clean a wide range of other surfaces such as countertops, sinks, doors, handles, cabinets, etc.

Another great advantage is that it does not leave streaks; on the contrary, the cleaned surface is always beautifully shiny and stays clean for a long time because vinegar naturally repels dirt and dust. In addition, children can work with it gently, so you can safely involve your little ones in household care and teach them proper hygiene habits for life.
