Other causes can be uncomfortable shoes, fungal infections, a rapid increase in weight (which is why ingrown big toes also threaten during pregnancy) and various injuries. Whatever the cause, it is always necessary to act quickly.

Infected nails
Sometimes the problem with ingrown nails is also accompanied by pus formation. In such a case apply kombucha to the nail. Put it on a sponge and tape it to the toe so that it does not move. Put on woolen socks and go to bed. In the morning you will be rid of the problem.
Cutting off the nail
An ingrown nail should be removed. However, it is not possible with a hard nail because it causes excessive pain. By using grated lemon peel and vegetable oil you can soften the nail. Before that, take a bath for the affected foot with the addition of baking soda. Apply this mixture to the nail, secure it, put on a sock and go to sleep. In the morning the nail is much more flexible and it is easy to cut off or trim its ingrowing part.
