This is Berkley – a massive dog with an even bigger heart. Berkley lives with owner Christine Jo Miller, her husband and their two-year-old daughter Elainey.
They immediately hit it off
At first, when Elainey was still a little baby, Christine worried about how the longtime pet would get used to the new addition to the family.
However, Berkley and Elainey soon literally fell in love with each other.
The owner revealed: ,, It took time before we allowed him to get close to the baby. We wanted them to build a mutual relationship. “
Getting a baby monitor
When Elainey was about 8 months old, the Millers installed Detk monitors in her room so they could constantly keep track of what was happening with their daughter.
They quickly discovered, however, that they were not the only ones watching her.
After the parents watched the footage from the monitors, they saw Berkley checking on Elainey:
Mother’s reaction
” It was something incredible. He watched over her very often. “
Elainey’s parents are always nearby in case Berkley accidentally disturbs their daughter’s sleep.
It seems, however, that his intention is something completely different. The little dog wants to make sure the little girl lacks nothing : ,, He enters the room, looks at the daughter, waits a moment and leaves. “
