This is one of the most widespread little flowers that likely exists. It literally grows everywhere; meadows and lawns in housing estates are full of it, especially in spring.

However, it grows all year round, and can even be found during winter when the ground is not covered by snow. There is probably no child or adult who does not know it. Yet few people know about its immensely powerful medicinal effects.

Yes, we are talking about the common dandelion

Dandelion tea affects cancer cells so strongly that they begin to break down after just 2 days. At the same time it has no harmful effects on healthy cells.

Despite its wide medicinal use, this little plant is often neglected. All you need to do to obtain it is gather it from clean places not too close to the road.

Our grandmothers made syrup from dandelion flowers because they knew it had many healing effects. What they did not know, however, was that the dandelion root can also help patients with cancer.

A root stronger than chemotherapy

Scientists have found that the dandelion root is more effective at killing cancer cells than chemotherapy. It can completely kill cancer cells without damaging healthy ones.

Besides its anti-tumor effects, dandelion also has the following properties:

  • diuretic
  • promotes bile secretion
  • liver detoxification
  • helps with allergies
  • reduces blood cholesterol

it contains many important vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin B6, thiamine, riboflavin, vitamin C, iron, calcium, potassium, zinc, magnesium and folic acid.
In one bowl with 55 grams of dandelion leaves you will find up to 535% of the required daily dose of vitamin K and 112% of vitamin A. All these facts about the dandelion have been known for years.

Miraculous dandelion tea

Research conducted at the University of Windsor in Canada gave hope even to oncology patients. It found that dandelion root effectively kills cancer cells and at the same time has no side effects.

Dandelion tea has a relatively quick effect. Already within 48 hours after ingestion the first cancer cells begin to disintegrate (break down).

It is estimated that a regular long-term regimen with dandelion root can remove most tumors. Due to these unexpected results, the research team was allocated additional funds to continue their research.

John di Carlo, a 72-year-old cancer patient, underwent intensive chemotherapy treatment. After its failure, doctors sent him home to die surrounded by his closest relatives.

As a last resort he decided on treatment using dandelion root tea. Just 4 months later this man was in remission (the cancer had receded).

How to prepare dandelion tea

  1. Dandelion tea is usually prepared from dried ground root. You can also use finely chopped fresh root.
  2. Pour approximately 1 to 2 teaspoons of root (depending on taste and severity of the disease) over 2.5 dl of boiling water and let steep for about 15 minutes.
  3. Drink the tea 2 to 3 times a day, preferably before meals. It is taken for several months.
  4. Some sources state that dandelion leaves also have certain anti-cancer effects. For preparing tea you may therefore consider using a mixture of root and leaves.
