Over time her pain became unbearable and the woman almost stopped moving. Any movement caused her great difficulty. Scoliosis is a fairly common condition in which the spine curves to one side. Most patients who suffer from this condition are offered spinal correction or surgery. However, Anna decided she would accept neither of these options and chose to address the condition her own way.
A miracle within a month
Her choice was yoga. Before yoga she tried many methods, such as acupuncture, sessions with a physiotherapist, manual therapies and others. Everything helped, but only had a temporary effect. In the end she found a yoga instructor, Rachel, who worked miracles with her after a month. She taught her asanas that help with the pain. After a month of lessons Anna was again able to walk or dance. Rachel drew on her own experience, having suffered from severe back pain for five years, and only yoga helped her.
