A walk for a million
Kalel Langford went for a walk with his parents one day, and they also decided to visit the diamond crater in the national park in southwestern Arkansas.
Fortune is fickle and that day it decided to hover right around this young man, for after a short while of searching he found a dark brown diamond!
And what was the diamond’s value?
After returning home, Kalel’s parents had the find appraised by experts and their verdict literally knocked them off their feet. The diamond was 7,44 carats! A similar one of purity 8,52 carats was found here in 2015.
1 000 000 dollars
The young lucky man received 1 000 000 dollars for his find and named the coffee-colored diamond Superman Diamond.
You’re looking at the seventh largest find in the park’s history, thanks to which Kalel made his mark in the history of the diamond crater
