Jessica-Mae Harnett had to fight attacks from her peers throughout her childhood. The cause of the bullying was a problem with her hair, which was falling out in large amounts. But this condition stopped and this young lady transformed into a beauty who now wins beauty contests.
This is how Jessica used to look
Jessica May Harnett, living in England, had a difficult childhood. Practically all her classmates teased her because of her hair problems. A bald patch often appeared on the girl’s head and they always asked her if she had cancer.
Doctors blamed it on a stressful environment
“When I first lost almost all my hair, the doctors said it was all because of stress.” But I was only three years old then, so what was I supposed to be afraid of?
When Jessica May tried to hide her problem and stop the onslaught of jokes, she hid her baldness under a wig; unfortunately her classmates wouldn’t leave her alone and took the fake hair off her head and humiliated her in front of the whole school. According to the girl herself, her hair problems lasted from ages 3 to 12. Her parents of course took her to doctors, but no treatment could help her.
Everything changed at school
At a young age this condition didn’t bother the girl, but when she went to school, her life turned into a nightmare. One can only imagine what the girl felt then, and judging by her words she shed many tears.
“I used to brush my hair and watch it fall onto the floor.” It was terrible, they kept laughing at me.
Harnett’s self-esteem hit rock bottom as a result of the constant humiliation. She withdrew into herself, didn’t leave the house and had no friends. It’s not known how this story would have ended, but thanks to competent treatment and medication her hair condition gradually improved.
Her self-esteem dropped to zero
“My self-esteem dropped to zero.” People always thought there was something wrong with me or that I was incurably ill. Jessica May over time changed from a wallflower into a real beauty and with her hair her confidence returned. The real happiness for this girl is that her illnesses disappeared. Of course she has to take vitamins, but she no longer complains.
She wants to become MISS England
Now Harnett participates in beauty contests and constantly attracts men’s attention. The girl dreams that one day she will become Miss England and will do everything to make it happen.
