Rising temperatures above 30 degrees are incredibly pleasant if you spend those days on the coast by the water, or cooling off in the garden in a pool. However, summer heat is truly unbearable if you’re shut up in your home. Especially people living on upper floors or those whose sun rays hit the window practically all day long think about how to lower the temperature. Even in such a case we have an effective way for you to make life in this heat more pleasant.
Hot weather and high temperatures
Not everyone has the chance to spend a large amount of money on cooling, so we have to manage with home tricks.
Say goodbye to painful temperatures and enjoy a pleasant night’s rest.
Cool air
For most of us, this initially pleasant heat begins to bother us after a while, and we become desperate because, due to the heat, you can’t fall asleep and sweat uncomfortably all night.
How to lower the temperature?
You should simply put a pillow into the freezer compartment or the refrigerator and if you don’t have enough space, it’s enough to chill just the pillowcase this way.
Even a wet towel can help you significantly during the evening. You will feel pleasantly cooled. Soak the towel in the coldest water and place it on the windowsill under an open window. Spread it across the width of the window.
If you own a fan, you know that it often can’t help significantly either. The fan only stirs the hot air around the room, but does not cool it down in any way.
However, just add a small assistant to the fan and you’ll be spared sweating and hot air. Place a small bowl filled with ice in front of the fan so it can blow coolness around the room
Other tips
Take a shower before bed, but replace hot water with cold water. Not only will you cool your body, but you’ll rest better.
Before you go to bed, switch off all electrical appliances around you, because these devices emit excess heat into the room.
