Mizuho Tosi is a Japanese dietitian living and working in America. She has her own blog where she reveals the secrets of slimness based on the culture and eating habits of her homeland. All diets developed by this woman are exceptionally effective and easy to follow because their basis is rice.
4-Plate Diet
The “4 Plates of Rice” diet will help you get rid of up to 2 kg per day. Because of the strictly limited range of foods, you are allowed to follow it for at most one week. But you will see that even during such a short period the effect will be impressive!
So, before starting the diet, you should stock up on three main products: brown rice, skinless and fat-free chicken (ideally breasts) and prunes. Other products – leafy salads, bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, vegetable oil.
Unrefined brown rice, like buckwheat, provides the body with fiber, plant proteins and B vitamins. It can quickly and sustainably satisfy hunger. Its unique property is the ability to absorb and remove toxic substances. This product cleanses the intestines, liver and blood, helping to deal with water retention in the body.
Chicken meat – the main food of all athletes and people who are trying to lose weight. It is rich in protein and helps reduce weight without damaging muscles.
Prunes have a mild laxative effect and at the same time prevent constipation during this rice diet. In addition, the sweet-and-sour taste of the dried fruit helps avoid the temptation to eat sweets.
Diet Plan
Rice — make up to 4 servings of it per day. The weight of 1 serving is 110 g. The main drink in the diet is green tea. It perfectly tones and nourishes the body’s cells with antioxidants. Avoid coffee.
Breakfast : rice with 1 tsp of vegetable oil, green tea without sugar
Mid-morning snack : 5 – 6 pcs. dried prunes, green tea without sugar
Lunch : rice, stewed chicken with bell pepper and dried prunes
Snack : rice, vegetable salad seasoned with vegetable oil
Dinner : rice, stewed zucchini, green tea without sugar
Before bed : water with lemon
The calorie content of such a diet is 1000-1200 kcal, which is enough for successful weight loss. Mizuho Tosi recommends drinking as much water as possible during the entire diet: 2 – 2.5 liters per day. This quickly removes metabolic waste from the body and prevents constipation.
