Almost every mom knows that caring for children and the household is a full-time job. And what’s more, if you have more than one child?!
One of the mothers had already become annoyed that she constantly has to clean up the mess after her children and decided to do something about it.
Almost every mother can imagine the kind of mess a child can make in an instant.
Jessica McGinty has three children and admits that once these three little devils start playing, she has the whole rest of the day to clean up.
The children enjoy the game, but they are not very keen on tidying up, and Jessica no longer knew what to do.
Moms’ secret trick
Recently, however, she showed off on her Facebook profile a brilliant idea that makes the children put their toys away every evening.
The whole idea is simple – she prepared several buckets against the wall.
If during the day or while cleaning she comes across an unpicked-up toy, she throws it into a bucket.
She then made an agreement with the children that if they don’t take the toys from the bucket to their rooms by bedtime, they will end up in the trash.
Jessica’s post has already been shared by more than 25,000 people and most of them agree that it’s a great idea that can be used not only for children, but also, for example, for messy partners.
Of course, there were those who complained that she throws toys in the trash.
Jessica, however, reassured them to take the whole situation more with humor.
She assumes that the mere threat is a sufficient reason for the children to go and tidy up their toys.
