You should have baby oil on hand even if your children have long since grown up, or if you don’t have children. There are really many ways to use it – from cosmetic to purely practical reasons. You can use baby oil for all of this.
Perfect treatment for dry heels
The skin of the feet requires special care. It gets a lot of wear every day and in some places very dry, hardened and cracked skin can form. Before going to bed, rub baby oil onto your feet.
Let it sit for a while, then put on socks and go to sleep. In the morning the skin will be noticeably smoother, hydrated and fresh.
For very hardened skin on the heel, apply oil, wrap with cling film and put on socks. Leave it on overnight.
Paint-stained hands
If you painted the walls in your apartment and the paint got on your skin, there is a simple way to remove it. Use a cotton cloth soaked in baby oil. Simply wipe the stained areas with the cloth and the paint is gone in an instant.
A miracle against the formation of stretch marks
A gentle massage with this oil before bed has an amazing effect on the skin. Especially for pregnant women it can serve an important function – around the belly and breasts it prevents the formation of stretch marks. Just gently massage into the skin and wait for it to absorb.
For an irritated nose from a cold and dry lips
If during a cold and runny nose you are troubled by dry skin around the nose and also chapped lips, do not hesitate to use baby oil. It speeds up healing, stops unpleasant itching and can hydrate for a long time.
Chewing gum in your hair?
If you’ve had a so-called chewing-gum accident and are already reaching for scissors – stop. Rub the gum and the area around it with oil. Let it sit for a few minutes and then simply remove it.
If you straighten your hair
Massage the oil into the ends of wet hair and let dry. Baby oil will protect the hair and your ends will not break. It’s a good tip even if you don’t straighten your hair. The oil nourishes the ends, they will be stronger and will break much less.
For irritated and inflamed skin
If you buy oil containing azulene, you can also use it on inflamed and irritated areas of the skin. Azulene has anti-inflammatory effects.
Extra shine
If you want your sink to shine like new, rub a little baby oil into it. It will also create a protective layer against water spots.
For a tangled necklace
Has your necklace or bracelet become tangled? Apply a little baby oil to the spot where the knot is and gently untangle. It will be a breeze.
When shaving
Baby oil can protect the skin from irritation during shaving better than shaving foam. In addition, the skin will be soft and hydrated after shaving.
Painless removal of a plaster
Removing a plaster can sometimes be really painful. However, if you use baby oil, the pain and therefore the likelihood of an unpleasant experience is reduced to a minimum.
Helps with a ring
If you have trouble with a stuck ring on your finger that you just can’t get off, baby oil will help again. Coat your finger and the ring with oil and it will come off easily!
For shading and softening colors
If you paint with colored pencils, you can create beautiful shades and color effects using baby oil.
Perfect bath oil
If you’re taking a bath, don’t forget to add a few drops of baby oil to the water. After the bath your skin will be soft and wonderfully smooth.
Make magical sand!
Moms and kids will appreciate it. It has all the properties of wet sand and children love playing with it; it’s great for modeling and helps develop fine motor skills. Mothers will appreciate the fact that, unlike wet sand, you just brush it off and it leaves no mess.
