Even a cotton mask can help. Here's how you can sew one at home

An ordinary mask will not protect you 100% from the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), but still, wear at least a cotton one rather than none as a precaution if you don’t have a respirator with a filter. The vast majority of experts agree that this type of mask at least slows the spread of the virus.

Prevention against coronavirus

At the moment respirators are never available for ordinary citizens. So there is nothing wrong with returning to homemade production — they can be used repeatedly. For sterile use, masks must always be boiled.

How to make a mask at home?

You need 100% cotton fabric for this, preferably plain cotton, which improves the ability to sterilize the mask. Do you have an unused (new) bedsheet at home? You can use it for masks as well.
