At first glance it may seem that the bathroom and kitchen drains are fine, but in most cases that’s not actually the case. Wastewater flows and you don’t notice anything. But one day the water won’t pass through the drain and suddenly it’s too late.
Clogged drain
You don’t need to despair immediately and turn to various expensive solutions. Try ordinary and safe ingredients that you have at home.
What we need
- 200 g baking soda
- 200 g salt
- 150 ml vinegar
Process
In a saucepan or bowl, mix the salt with the baking soda.
Put this mixture into the drain you are currently having problems with.
Now it’s time for the vinegar. Heat the vinegar and slowly pour it into the drain where the powder mixture already is. Foam will start to flow from the outlet pipe. Don’t be afraid!
Now just heat water in the kettle. Pour the hot water down the drain.
Cold water does not remove dirt. But hot water does.
This cleaning composition will reliably clean the drain, will smell pleasant and, most importantly, will not damage the drain.
