Bubble wrap is a real miracle
When cold winter arrives, we often have trouble getting out of bed in the morning. It’s still dark, and what’s more important, the house is very cold! Running from a warm bed to the shower or to the coffee maker is real torture, and by the time the heaters do their job, it’s quite some time. Especially small bathroom or toilet windows can make you feel at home in Antarctica in the morning.

Maybe you just put on a bathrobe during the shower? No, there is a better solution!

Cold

A bathroom window can cause a lot of cold air to enter your home; the same applies to the pesky toilet window. Single-glazed windows are especially responsible for icy air in your household, but even if you have double glazing, your home may still be cold. Did you know there is a simple way to insulate windows without spending a fortune? You may already own this solution!

Bubble wrap

All you need to insulate is bubble wrap and a little water. Cut a piece of bubble wrap to the size of the window you want to seal. Using a spray bottle, spray a little water on the side of the film where the bubbles are, as well as on the window. Then press the bubble wrap with the wet side against the window and it’s ready! The sealing is done! In a few seconds the bubble wrap will stick and stay in place all winter. In the spring, when it warms up again, just take it off. Perfect, isn’t it? With no high costs it takes a few seconds, and most importantly, the effect will be noticed the next morning! This way it will be much easier to get out of bed and the house won’t be cold in the morning anymore.
