Many of us suffer from hard and smelly towels and unfortunately this problem also applies to a lot of other laundry. This problem often originates from a clogged washing machine, so it is necessary to find a way to keep the machine clean and thereby have perfectly clean and fragrant laundry.
Homemade fabric softener
We will show you a trick to make a homemade detergent that is also a fabric softener. So your laundry will not only be clean and fragrant but pleasantly soft and smooth like never before. A huge advantage of this remedy is also the fact that it can clean the washing machine.
You will need
- Baking soda – 10g
- Hot water – 200 ml
- Apple cider vinegar – 800 ml
- Essential oil – 20 drops
- Plastic container – ideally 5 l
How to do it
Pour the water into the plastic container, pour in the vinegar and add the baking soda.
Once this mixture stops bubbling, add the essential oil of your choice.
Stir thoroughly.
Usage
You can then use this product just like ordinary fabric softener. Thanks to the product the laundry will be soft, fragrant and perfectly washed. Your washing machine will be clean and its lifespan will be extended.
