We love plants and take care of them, but we don’t always get a beautiful view. Despite care with watering, fertilizing and keeping optimal conditions, they lose leaves, deteriorate and we don’t know why.
A tip that fights problems
Well, they can be attacked by parasites and fungi. Of course there are chemical agents that fix it, but there is a simple, cheap and effective tip that gardeners have been using for years.
Just stick the matches in with the heads down, keeping a distance of about 5 cm. Water the plant as usual and remove them only when, upon inspection, the „head“ has dissolved. After about 48 hours check whether all the sulfur has penetrated into the soil.
Sulfur and phosphorus have fungicidal activity and deal with fungi and parasites that attack the plant.
