The dishwasher is undoubtedly one of the best inventions of the modern world. Does anyone really enjoy washing tons of dishes by hand every day? No, you just load the dishes into the dishwasher, press a button and that’s it. How simple. But the dishwasher can actually do much more than just wash dishes! See for yourself!
Dishwasher tablets were of course primarily intended only for use in dishwashers for dishes, but if you think they are only good for that, you are mistaken.
Dishwasher tablets come in handy in the household for a lot of other things.
Removing yellowed stains from white T-shirts:
White T-shirts are popular and they make you feel good and fresh. A common problem with shirts of this color, however, is that they don’t stay white for very long. The original bright white color changes after just a few weeks, especially in the underarm area. How to prevent that? Simply add a dishwasher tablet to the washing machine the next time you wash white laundry. Yellowed underarm stains will disappear immediately and your white T-shirt will regain its original bright color! After all, dishwasher tablets are designed to remove greasy stains and food residues – originally from dishes, but why not use them on clothing as well? The results of this trick will really surprise you!
Cleaning a deep fryer:
Fill the outer container three quarters full with water and then add a dishwasher tablet. Place a colander in the pot and connect it to the power. Turn it on to the maximum temperature and let it run for about 10 minutes. Then disconnect the fryer from the power and carefully rinse everything with lukewarm water. Dazzling cleanliness!

Cleaning oven racks:
A dirty rack or grill in the oven is nothing unusual. We can complain for a long time about how it happened again, but in the end we always come to the same conclusion – it needs to be cleaned. Cleaning the oven is certainly not anyone’s favorite activity, but don’t despair! Take the rack or grill and soak it in the sink with warm water. Add a dishwasher tablet and let it work. Then scrub the rack or grill and let it dry. The result will surprise you: the grill or rack will literally sparkle with cleanliness!
Removing raclette and fondue odors:
At least twice a year one should enjoy a rich and tasty feast. But what about the lingering smell of grease in the air, the curtains or the sofa in the living room? The smell of meat, which was until recently a prized delicacy, has now turned into an unpleasant nuisance. How to get rid of it quickly? Nobody wants to have breakfast in the presence of the smell of meat. Try the following trick: after finishing the meal pour water into a small pot, add a dishwasher tablet, place it on the stove and let it simmer at a low (!) temperature. A clean and fresh scent will permeate the whole house! Goodbye food odors!
Residue of lemon or brown stains in the kettle:
Every tea lover has already encountered this problem. Yes, you guessed right – it is lemon residue in the kettle. Cleaning it is an absolute nightmare and it seems there is no solution. Even long scrubbing doesn’t help. Thanks to dishwasher tablets, this nightmare quickly disappears. Just pour hot water into the kettle and add a dishwasher tablet. Let the kettle sit overnight and rinse it out the next day.
Burnt pans and pots:
What a pain – you have to scrape and scrub them… and on top of that it’s a very time-consuming process. But simply add a little water and a dishwasher tablet to the pot or pan and let it simmer at low heat for about a minute. Cleaning will then be significantly easier!
