Burnt-on residue on pans and pots can take hours of effort to remove. In many cases the burn simply cannot be removed. Or at least it seems that way to us. Often even chemical products, which cost a lot of money in stores, don’t help with these burns.

Homemade remedy for burnt-on stains

Thanks to this recipe this problem with burnt-on stains will become a thing of the past. This remedy can remove grease and free the pots of all dirt that spoils their appearance and functionality. 

What will you need?

  • 5 liters of water
  • 100 g of baking powder
  • 100 g of mustard powder
  • sturdy gloves

Procedure

First, put on sturdy gloves. 
Prepare a container with a capacity of at least 5 liters. 
Pour the water into the container. Add the baking powder and mustard powder to the water.
Mix everything thoroughly and bring to a boil together over the heat. 
Place the pan or pot with the stuck-on residues into the container and let it soak for 15-30 minutes depending on the degree of burning. 
Then take it out, wait until it cools, and wipe with a sponge. You will see that the burnt-on stains disappear.
