If your diet contains large amounts of substances called purines, uric acid will build up in the blood, causing stones to form in the joints. Such stones then damage the joint lining. It is a kind of joint pain we call gout.
Who is at risk of gout?
Gout usually affects older individuals. Pain begins to appear, which is an obstacle even to the most common activities.
Gout can affect any part of the body where there are joints – toes, lower limbs, knees, hip joints, shoulders, elbows, wrists or lower limbs.
A poor diet is the most commonly recognized reason for gout, however various diseases can also significantly influence this condition.

Uric acid accumulation
Increased levels of uric acid in the blood occur when the liver cannot process urea.
In addition, it is excreted from the body through sweat.
If uric acid accumulates in the body, it initially aggregates in the blood and later in the joints where it forms.
As we just mentioned, the cause of gout is often an unusual diet — a huge amount of proteins and purines (meat, beer and several types of vegetables, for example beetroot, asparagus, spinach, cauliflower and vegetables).
In any case it’s not only about the diet, but about adequate fluid intake, because water plays a key role in eliminating uric acid from the body.
How to remove uric acid from the body
In this article we will gradually discuss various routine plans that will allow you to eliminate gout from your joints.
Tomatoes
Squeeze the juice from prepared tomatoes. Drink 1.5 to 2 dcl of tomato juice 3x a day.
Onion and parsley
Boil 0.5 liters of water and add 1 sliced onion, 50 grams of cabbage and 3 stalks of parsley. Cook for 30 minutes.
Then let the remedy cool and add a little lemon. Drink 30 minutes before lunch.
Oil
Mix 3 tablespoons of soy oil and 3 tablespoons of rosemary oil.
Use this mixture to massage the joints.
Onion
Place 1/2 a sliced onion into 1 liter of water and start boiling. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. And let it cool. Drink the decoction during the day.
Fruits and vegetables
Juice from 1 mango, 4 carrots, 30 grams of strawberries and a piece of pineapple in a juicer. If you don’t have a juicer, you can even blend it in a mixer with a little water.
Then drink this mixture every morning on an empty stomach. In case of more severe pain, also at night.
Corn
Take the corn cob (without the kernels) and boil in water for 10 minutes.
Let it cool and drink the decoction 3 times a day.
Elderflower
Pour 2 tablespoons of elderflower into 0.5 liters of boiling water, let boil for 10 minutes.
Then drink the tea, let it cool, add a little honey and drink it during the day.
Cranberries
Put 30 grams of cranberries into 1 liter of water and boil for 5 minutes.
Divide this decoction into 3 parts and drink throughout the day.
Cucumber, lemon, ginger and celery
Cut a medium-sized cucumber, a large part of a lemon, 2 cm of ginger root and 2 stalks of celery with the leaf.
Cut the pieces into a blender and mix with a little water until you reach a smooth consistency.
Consume the first portion of the mixture on an empty stomach in the morning before breakfast and the remaining two portions during the day before meals.
