Everyone adores the summer season; the weather is beautifully warm, which draws us to spend time outdoors. However, that also means that besides pleasant moments we experience less pleasant ones when mosquitoes and annoying insects buzz tirelessly around us. Scientists say that approximately one in five people is especially tasty to these kinds of insects. Are you one of those people too?

Mosquito repellents

To prevent unpleasant bumps  on the skin and constant itching, use an effective mosquito repellent that will keep mosquitoes sufficiently away. These repellents have been available on the market since 1956.
These sprays work great, but in most cases they contain toxic chemicals that can have dangerous side effects on our skin and body. Protection against bites also reduces the likelihood of various mosquito-borne diseases.
Fortunately, there is one vitamin that can create an odor on the skin and thereby effectively repel mosquitoes. Moreover, this smell is not detected by humans.

The repellent vitamin

Vitamin B1, often called thiamin. It is a great mineral that the body necessarily needs; it is important for increasing resistance to stress.
It is usually found in foods such as liver, brown rice, sunflower seeds, eggs, flakes, cabbage, asparagus, yeast, spinach, broccoli, cabbage.
When we talk about the relationship between vitamin B1 and mosquitoes, this vitamin should repel mosquitoes. People who have enough vitamin B1 in their bodies generally “smell” to mosquitoes, so the insects do not feel the need to bite and cause trouble.
50 mg of this vitamin is recommended to be taken twice daily. Within two weeks the number of mosquitoes attacking your skin will decrease.

If thiamin doesn’t work, try this natural mosquito repellent to avoid the dangerous chemicals contained in repellents.
