Let’s take a look at a common meat product, namely chicken breasts: clean meat that you only need to slice or prepare whole.
We have a great trick for you
Nothing is perfect and that applies to gastronomy as well. We’ll teach you how to get rid of the tendons that occur in the meat and offer you an excellent recipe for chicken breasts.
We’ll of course start with a handy tip and then move on to the recipe itself. You have chicken breasts in front of you and you can clearly see the white vein that runs through the meat. This is a tendon and you must get rid of it. You can of course take a knife and start cutting it out, or you can do it quite differently.
You will need a paper towel and a fork. First loosen a part of the tendon from the meat so you can grab it. Now thread it through the prongs of the fork in the middle, grasp it with the paper towel and start pulling. Done! The meat stayed in place, but the tendon came out! Watch how Mendy Klenz, who came up with this trick, does it.
How to easily remove the white veins from chicken meat

The breasts are ready for immediate preparation. Here is a simple recipe for how to make juicy meat in a pan in literally twenty minutes. During that time you can prepare a side dish such as mashed potatoes or a tasty vegetable salad …
You will need:
- 2-3 chicken breasts (600 g)
- 1 lemon
- 1 tsp sweet ground paprika
- A pinch of dried garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Rinse the breasts and cut them into fairly large slices about 20 millimeters thick. Put them in a bowl, add the spices and a little squeezed juice from the cut lemon.
Meanwhile, heat a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove. The advantage is that the meat doesn’t have to be marinated; it’s enough to mix it and you can flatten it a bit.
Move the slices to the hot pan and fry for two to three minutes on each side; you shouldn’t reduce the heat. Watch the meat, otherwise it may dry out. The pan-fried chicken breasts are ready to eat!
Use your favorite seasonings, cook the breasts whole or cut them into smaller pieces, but most importantly, don’t forget to remove the tendons.
