Recipe: Immunity in a morning glass

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Warm the filtered water in a pot over low heat – do not bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. Add the honey and stir well to dissolve.
  4. Stir in the turmeric, apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper.
  5. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the drink “settle”.
  6. Drink in the morning on an empty stomach as a “shot” (approx. 50–100 ml) for 5 days.
