The majority start planting flowers so they have a beautiful, blooming and colorful garden. If you don’t have a garden, you can of course also grow flowers at home in pots on the balcony.
If you want to grow truly wonderful flowers this year that everyone around you will envy, then just follow a simple piece of advice. With its help you will achieve guaranteed success and will do so in the years to come.
The whole street will envy you
Gorgeous flowers covered in blooms that make everyone turn to look. That’s exactly what every gardener longs for.
The path to that is not difficult at all; on the contrary, it is downright simple. As part of this method, however, it is recommended to cultivate directly in the ground, because according to experts among gardeners, they will never be as beautiful and tall in a pot as they are in soil.
Check germination
Before planting gladioli themselves, it is necessary to perform two steps. The first of them is to check whether the gladioli have 100% germination. Put the small corms into a plastic cup before planting and pour Savo over them. Then leave them in this state for at least half an hour, until they have completely whitened. You definitely don’t have to be afraid that Savo will damage them. Instead of Savo you can use another product containing chlorine. Finally take them out, rinse with water and plant.
Plant them in cardboard
The next step is to prepare an empty egg carton. It is a perfect aid when growing all bulbous plants. Let the bulbs drain and place each one into one of the holes in the carton. Make a hole in each opening beforehand. Plant the bulbs according to your preference, next to each other, apart, however you want. Then place the carton into a dug hole in the garden and cover it with soil. Water lightly, but do not overwater. The moist environment will then take care of breaking down the cardboard and the soil will provide all the plants with the necessary nutrients. Thanks to the precise spacing the final result will look beautiful.
