When a person ages, the skin gradually becomes less elastic and more fragile. The main cause of its drying and stretching is mainly the reduced production of the skin’s natural oils.

In this article we will show you how you can tighten it again completely naturally, without the need for cosmetics full of harmful chemicals or expensive plastic surgery. The best thing about these methods is that all of them work in a relatively short time.

So, let’s now look at what you need to do.

Skin tightener from fruit and herbs

You can make a homemade skin tightener by mixing lemon juice, honey, rosemary and the herb witch hazel (lat. Hamamelis virginiana). All of these substances have strong astringent effects on the skin.

In addition, they reduce pores and soften and smooth the skin. The condition of its oil content will also improve and wrinkles will visibly decrease. This homemade skin tightener should be applied every day.

Healthy diet

Although it may sound like a cliché, a healthy diet is an important factor for the health and elasticity of your skin. It is especially about these components: antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Avoid foods high in sugar and drink 6 to 8 glasses of clean water a day to keep your skin sufficiently hydrated.

Facial exercises to firm the skin

Facial exercises are often very effective in firming the facial skin and removing, for example, a double chin. Facial exercises activate the muscles in the face, which helps to lift sagging skin without the need to undergo plastic surgery or liposuction.

Cucumber mask

One of the very effective ways to tighten the skin is a cucumber mask.

Procedure:

  • Take one cucumber, slice it into thin slices and squeeze the juice from them.
  • Apply this juice to the skin and let it dry.
  • Then wash your face with lukewarm water and pat dry.

This homemade mask will nourish, hydrate the skin and at the same time remove pores. It can be used on any part of the body – whether for wrinkles or dark circles under the eyes, the abdomen, arms or thighs.

Be careful with sunbathing

In summer, don’t overdo sunbathing and always use sunscreen, of course in organic quality without chemical substances that often harm the skin more than they protect it.

Apply the cream at least 30 minutes before you go out in the sun.

Regular massage

Another great way to prevent sagging skin is massage. Massage helps regenerate skin tissue and improve blood circulation, which supports their regeneration and overall health.

During a massage you can also use, for example, aloe vera gel, which will provide the skin with necessary nutrients.

Natural oils for the skin

For skin care after showering do not use traditional body lotions, because they contain many harmful substances. In the short term they may soften the skin, but in the long term they damage it greatly.

Instead, use natural oils, such as:

  • avocado oil
  • grapeseed oil
  • jojoba oil
  • coconut oil

These oils work very well with other natural ingredients such as shea butter or vitamin E. In addition, they are not only safe but also excellent at reducing loose skin.

An alternative is natural creams containing the above oils plus co-enzyme Q10.

Instant mask of egg white and lemon

Another recommended remedy for tightening the skin is a homemade mask of egg white and lemon juice. Its application will lighten and tighten the skin.

Procedure:

  • Add a few drops of lemon juice to one egg white, mix well and the mask is ready.
  • Leave it on the skin for 15 minutes.
  • Then rinse the mask off with lukewarm water and dry the skin.

Baking soda mask

Excellent results can also be achieved with a mask containing baking soda.

Proceed as follows:

Mix a small amount of baking soda, for example 1 teaspoon with 200 ml of water and massage your skin with this mixture for a minute. Baking soda is an alkaline substance that removes dead cells from the skin, softens its texture and tightens pores.

You can also try a stronger concentration by mixing a teaspoon of baking soda with only a little water to create a paste. You can optionally add a little coconut oil to it.

However, before applying such a concentrated mixture to your skin, first test it on a small area of skin and make sure it does not cause an allergic reaction.

Baking soda has a pH of 8.4, which is not a very strong alkali. Therefore the likelihood of an allergic reaction is very small.

Definitely try some of the mentioned home methods for tightening loose skin. We are convinced that you will be pleasantly surprised by their results. Your skin will be firm, elastic and smooth again. And all this without invasive surgical procedures.
