These days, when “Mrs. Winter” rules over our territory, each of us has the same problem. Every morning you get up, wash, get dressed, have breakfast (if you have time) and go to work. Then you discover that it froze again overnight, the cars around are covered in whiteness and your car is no exception.
The windshield is frozen and you have no choice but to take out your scraper and get to work. However, there is another way to outsmart winter – all you need is a plastic bag and lukewarm water.
Salt water
If temperatures are only around zero, ordinary warm water will suffice. Otherwise, it will freeze when temperatures are lower and below -10 ° C. At that point you can add a teaspoon of ordinary kitchen salt to the container of water. Then pour the mixture onto the glass and use the wipers.
Water with antifreeze mixture
Similar to salt, an antifreeze mixture can also work. When severe frosts hit, you can use a combination of warm water and antifreeze mixture in a ratio of 5: 2. The mixture will help speed up the melting of ice on the glass.
Water with vinegar
You can use a mixture of vinegar and water in a ratio of 3: 1 to defrost the glass. It will be practical for you to prepare the mixture in a spray bottle, and when you spray it onto the glass you will soon get rid of the ice or frost.

Covered glass
Better than quickly melting frozen glass is prevention. You may not like the look of it, but during severe frosts functionality is the priority. If you cover the glass with cardboard, an old blanket or foil, you will avoid unnecessary stress , when you quickly need to defrost the glass and you will also save yourself work.
